| ROSEN COLLEGE OF HOSPITALITY MANAGEMENT SHUTTLE
SERVICE
Beginning with the 2004 spring semester, UCF expanded its student
transportation services to include the newly constructed Rosen College
of Hospitality Management on Universal Boulevard in Southwestern
Orange County. Because of light Friday class schedules at Rosen
College, the shuttle services between the UCF main campus and Rosen
College is provided Monday through Thursday only, with five round
trips each day.
The distance between the main campus and Rosen College is about
35 miles. So, considering the time, mileage, the price of gas and
toll costs the students who take advantage of the service are receiving
a tremendous value. And with approximately forty minutes’
travel time, passengers have the luxury of getting to that long
put-off reading assignment, a last-minute cram for an exam, or just
to take a quick power nap before classes.
The bus departs and returns on the main campus at the confluence
of Pegasus Circle and Aquarius Agora Drive near the Student Union
and Classroom Building I. It drops off at the front of the main
entrance to Rosen College, and its return trips to UCF commence
from the Rosen College main parking lot.
Anyone, including faculty and staff members who would rather not
drive their own vehicles, but wish to visit the Rosen College during
the days of regular service, is welcome to use it. However, ample
parking is available at Rosen College for all who drive their cars,
and regular UCF parking permits will be honored there.
